Bayne clinches Dunfermline move

Dunfermline have completed the signing of Inverness striker Graham Bayne on a two-year deal.

The 28-year-old scored 19 goals in 133 appearances for Inverness and has previously played for Ross County.

Pars manager Jim McIntyre told the club website: "We have had to pay a fee for Graham but I was prepared to do that because I rate him very highly.

"He works hard, is strong in the air and scores the odd goal. He's the perfect target man."

Meanwhile, the East End Park side will begin the new season without defender Sol Bamba and midfielder Steven Bell.

Bamba will be representing Ivory Coast at the Beijing Olympics while new signing Bell has sustained a cartilage injury.

"It looks like he will be out for four to six weeks," added McIntyre.

"It's a real blow for the boy, as well as the team. He would have been suspended for the first couple of league games, but we would have wanted him for pre season and he would have been eligible for cup games."
