Dunfermline Athletic player-manager Jim McIntyre has turned to former Kilmarnock team-mate Alex Burke to improve his side's firepower.
Burke has been with St Mirren since 2006
The 30-year-old Burke has been brought in on loan from Scottish Premier League outfit St Mirren until the summer.
And Burke told the Pars website: "Jim is a winner, a good football player who sets high standards for himself. He is fit and makes demands."
The move to East End Park could be extended should Burke impress.
Buddies manager Gus MacPherson told his club website: "Alex Burke is a way on loan to Dunfermline until the end of the season with a view to a more permanent deal.
"Alex wanted to be playing regular first-team football, so he'll have an opportunity to do that at Dunfermline."
Burke began his career with Killie before playing for Falkirk, Clydebank, Berwick Rangers, Queen of the South and Ross County.
He joined St Mirren in summer 2006 but has made just 26 appearances, half as a substitute.
