Noel Whelan only managed three minutes action for the Pars

Noel Whelan has left Dunfermline Athletic after an injury-plagued six months with the SPL club.
The former Coventry, Middlesbrough, Leeds and Aberdeen frontman played only three minutes for the Pars before suffering an achilles injury.
Dunfermline chairman John Yorkston said the club had agreed to terminate the player's contract.
"It is unfortunate we never had the chance to see what he could offer," Yorkston added.
Whelan was released by Livingston at the end of last season and impressed on trial for the Pars before signing a one-year contract.
