Dunfermline manager Jim Leishman said the 8-1 drubbing by Celtic would test his character.
"I've never been through this in my life. It's really hard to take. I'm certainly not laughing and joking about this," said Leishman.
"I'm angry but it's hard because the players have come out against the odds recently and done well, getting us to a final. We'll see how they react now.
"Most of the goals were so easy and that's not acceptable."
