Levein happy to escape with draw

Levein said he was happy with a point at Fir Park

Dundee United manager Craig Levein was content after watching his side draw 1-1 with Motherwell at Fir Park.

"I was quite happy at half-time as I thought we'd played reasonably well," he told BBC Sport.

"But in the second half we gave the ball away and I don't have any qualms saying Motherwell were better than us.

"It's not often I can say our team got a break and didn't perform at our best and still managed to get something from the game. So it's encouraging."
