Dundee United winger Craig Conway has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a broken foot.
Conway has been ruled out until next season
The 21-year-old has a broken metatarsal and is expected to be out of action for six to eight weeks, the club said.
The midfielder joined from Ayr United last June and signed a three-year deal under former boss Craig Brewster.
Conway, whose transfer went to a tribunal after the clubs failed to agree a fee, has been a regular in Craig Levein's side this season.
Levein told the Dundee Evening Telegraph: "You are talking six or seven weeks minimum
with this kind of injury and that's just to get to the point where he can start
"After that, it would take another two to three weeks to get him ready for
games and that's assuming there are no setbacks.
"Realistically, that means his season is over."
