Dundee United manager Craig Brewster left Ibrox satisfied after his side earned a battling 2-2 with Rangers.
Brewster has had a difficult start to his career as Dundee United boss
The Tangerines were at one point 2-0 ahead before Rangers came back, but Brewster was delighted.
"It was a great point for us and an excellent performance. Noel Hunt scored a superb goal and when Kalvenes got the second, I was optimistic." he said.
"But Rangers did well to get back into the game. But we've earned plaudits today and hopefully we can carry on."
Brewster has had a torrid start to his Tannadice tenure, winning just one game in 18.
And he hopes that by gaining a point in Glasgow it will prove to be the springboard for a revival in fortunes.
"You need to be organised and hard-working when you come to places like Ibrox, so I'm delighted with that, " he added.
"I'm confident we can build on this type of performance with a long season ahead of us."
