United manager Craig Brewster believed the tough conditions had a large bearing on the outcome of the match.
He said: "I think conditions were a big factor and they were tricky. We were
the better side in the first half.
"They managed to get a few more balls into our box in the second, so overall I thought a draw was a fair result.
"For the goal, Derek (Stillie) thought it was his ball but the wind held it up, so I was reasonably happy with our overall performance."
