Agent hits out at British justice
Scotland scored five goals last season
United say Jason Scotland was wanted by other clubs
Jason Scotland's agent has called into question British justice after the striker was refused a work permit to remain with Dundee United.

A Scottish Premier Leauge appeals committee decision about the Trinidad & Tobago international was this week upheld by the Home Office.

But Mike Berry said: "If this is British justice then it stinks.

"Dundee United would not be in Europe and have got to the Scottish Cup final without Jason Scotland."

The panel decided that the 26-year-old had not made an impact on Scottish football, but Berry said "that's an impact if ever I saw one".

United chairman Eddie Thompson has vowed to continue to pursue the case through every possible avenue.

"They have robbed a young lad of his livelihood," said Scotland's agent.

"I was brought up with the message that if you work hard and you are a good citizen then you will be successful, but that didn't work for Jason Scotland.

"He is a young boy of 26 and has made a tremendous impact on the community. They are kicking him out of football - which is disgraceful."
