Dundee United manager Ian McCall was left devastated after the seven-goal mauling from Rangers in the CIS Cup.
"We're absolutely shattered," said McCall. "We were awful in the first half but started to make a game of it and could have drawn level.
"The third goal really killed us and the players went kamikaze after that, pushing forward and losing discipline.
"That left us wide open at the back and Rangers punished us because they've got good players all over the pitch."
