Crawford agreed to terminate his United contract

Stevie Crawford has signed a two-year deal at Aberdeen after agreeing a severance package with Dundee United.
A Dons spokesman said: "It is no secret that we have been searching for a quality striker and Stevie certainly fits that bill."
The Scotland international arrived at Tannadice from Plymouth for £80,000 in January but has failed to shine.
United signed Lee Miller and David Fernandez this summer and Crawford was deemed surplus to requirements.
Crawford, 31, enjoyed his best spell at Dunfermline, while playing under Aberdeen manager Jimmy Calderwood and his assistant Jimmy Nicholl.
"We are delighted to have signed Stevie on a two-year deal," continued the spokesman.
"Stevie is a Scotland international and is well known to the two Jimmys after playing for both previously."
