Chaplain agrees Dumbarton switch

Chaplain is an attacking threat from midfield

Dumbarton have signed midfielder Scott Chaplain on a one-year deal.

The 26-year-old was released by Partick Thistle last month after scoring eight goals in two seasons at Firhill.

Chaplain spent two campaigns with Albion Rovers prior to his move to the Jags and netted an impressive 30 goals in his time at Cliftonhill.

"My game is about attacking from midfield, so getting goals is certainly what I aim to do," Chaplain told the Sons website.
