Dumbarton have signed striker Michael Moore from Ayr United for what the Second Division club describe as "a nominal fee".
The 26-year-old has signed an 18-month contract, becoming the Sons' fifth signing during January.
Moore, previously of Stranraer, St Johnstone and Hamilton Academical, told the Dumbarton website: "I've scored over 100 senior goals.
"I'm sure I can do a job for Dumbarton and help push us up the table."
Moore claimed that he had turned down a couple of First Division clubs but was keen to sign for new Dumbarton manager Jim Chapman.
He had joined Ayr from Stranraer during the summer, scoring five goals in 18 appearances, but had not featured since early December.
Meanwhile, Chapman has released striker Paul McQuilken and youth player Alan Orr.
