Williams' Dover return
Dover Athletic have revealed Bill Williams has been appointed as the club's new general manager.
Former Whites boss Williams has returned to the club after a short spell with Kingstonian in a bid to boost the commercial and management operations. Dover chairman Jim Gleeson stressed his appointment would not affect the position of Gary Bellamy, who continues to have full control over all team matters. He said: "His experience in football will undoubtedly increase the club's prospects of attracting additional income to enable us to compete on a level playing field with our Conference colleagues. "Bill will be responsible for day-to-day management of the club, particularly with respect to generating further income from the business community of Dover." Williams said: "I am delighted to be back at Dover. I spent some of my happiest times here at the club. "I am convinced that with some effort we can bring real success for the club and town."
