Doncaster Rovers midfielder Martin Woods has signed a new three-year deal with the Championship club, tieing him to the Keepmoat Stadium until 2013.

The former Leeds United, Sunderland and Rotherham United player, 24, was signed by Sean O'Driscoll in June 2007.

He becomes the second Rovers man to sign a new deal in recent weeks after fellow midfielder James Coppinger.

Woods is now set to clock up his 100th Rovers appearance in Saturday's trip to Championship leaders QPR.

Rovers go into Saturday's game against Neil Warnock's unbeaten Rangers in seventh, having lost just once in seven games this season.
