Fortune is Doncaster Rovers' first signing of the summer

Doncaster have signed former Manchester United and South Africa midfielder Quinton Fortune on a short-term deal.

The 32-year-old, who spent seven years at Old Trafford, has impressed while on trial at Rovers this summer following his departure from Belgian side Tubize.

After leaving Manchester United, Fortune went to Bolton, Sunderland, and had a brief spell at Sheffield United.

Fortune will wear the number 19 shirt vacated by Richie Wellens and is expected to make his debut at Watford.
