Byfield has played international football for Jamaica
Doncaster Rovers have signed striker Darren Byfield on a two-year deal following his release by Bristol City.
The 29-year-old was City's top scorer last season netting eight times in 33 Championship appearances.
Byfield told Doncaster's website: "I'm delighted to have signed and I'm really looking forward to it.
"Donny being in the Championship is a big thing and with the football that is being played here, I wanted to be a part of it."
Byfield began his career at Aston Villa and following several loan spells away from the Premier League club he moved to Walsall on a free transfer in 2002.
He has also played for Rotherham, Sunderland, Gillingham and Millwall.
