Brown extends Doncaster stay
Dave Penney
Boss Dave Penney has extended Chris Brown's loan spell
Doncaster boss Dave Penney has extended Sunderland striker Chris Brown's stay at Belle Vue for the remainder of the season.

The 18-year-old, currently sidelined with a broken toe, has scored six goals in his first eight games on loan - and will hope to help Rovers to promotion.

Penney has also signed defender Tim Ryan on a new, extended contract.

The 28-year-old, who is his second spell with Rovers, has signed a deal which will keep him at the club until June 2006.

"We're pleased to have got these two things sorted out. Everything is moving forward and going well for us at the moment," said Penney.

Meanwhile, midfielder Michael McIndoe has become the club's first player to earn an international call-up from Scotland.

McIndoe, a summer signing from Yeovil, has been named in Scotland's Future squad to play Turkey at Dundee on 10 December.
