Rovers sign Ghent on loan
Barry Richardson
Rovers needed cover after Barry Richardson's departure
Doncaster Rovers have signed Barnsley goalkeeper Matthew Ghent on a month's loan.

Rovers manager Dave Penney moved for Ghent after Andy Warrington sustained a hamstring injury in Saturday's 1-0 win at Dover.

With Barry Richardson having recently departed for Halifax Town, Penney required a second senior keeper as cover.

Ghent is set to make his Rovers debut against Stevenage on Friday night.

The 21-year-old started his career at Aston Villa and had spells with Lincoln City and Nationwide Conference outfit Forest Green before joining Barnsley last summer.
