My goal was for Adam Stansfield - Dean Moxey

Dean Moxey
Moxey played with Stansfield at Exeter for three years until 2009

Makeshift Derby County striker Dean Moxey says his goal in the 2-1 defeat against Coventry was for former Exeter team-mate Adam Stansfield.

Stansfield died earlier this month after a battle with bowel cancer.

And emergency striker Moxey, who was Stansfield's room-mate for two years, told BBC Radio Derby: "That goal was for him. That goal was for a good mate.

"I can't speak highly enough of him. He was fantastic - one of the nicest people you could meet."
