Tom Glick insists Rob Hulse does not need to be sold

Derby County chief executive Tom Glick says manager Nigel Clough is under no pressure to sell striker Rob Hulse.

The 30-year-old, who has one year left on his contract at Pride Park, has been linked with a move this summer after turning down Middlesbrough last year.

Glick told BBC Radio Derby: "We're not in a position where we need to sell Rob so I think it remains to be seen.

"We feel very good that we have Rob and five other strikers who are fit and who can do a job for us."

Glick added: "He's a great pro, he's been a great player for us [and] we're fully aware of his contract situation, as are other clubs."

Hulse has been linked with a possible move to Burnley or his former club Leeds United.
