Barazite joined Arsenal from Dutch side NEC Nijmegen in 2007
Arsenal midfielder Nacer Barazite has extended his loan spell with Derby County for the rest of the season.
The Dutchman, 18, has made 19 league appearances for the Rams and is free to play in their Carling Cup semi-final.
Derby caretaker manager Chris Hutchings said: "It is a big boost to have secured Nacer's services for the rest of the season.
"He is a fantastic talent with lots still to learn and has applied himself well since he's been here."
Barazite was also more than happy to commit to Pride Park for the rest of the season:
He said: "I'm delighted to be staying, I have really enjoyed the time I've spent here so far and am looking forward to learning more and playing my part."
The midfielder was originally set to leave the Rams at the end of the year.
Derby face Forest Green in the FA Cup on Saturday and Manchester United in the Carling Cup semi-final on 7 January.
