Derby County manager Paul Jewell says his job is not on the line despite recent newspaper speculation.
Jewell told BBC Radio Derby: "I spoke to the chairman on Monday and he's assured me there's not a problem.
"I know it's not going great, I'm not stupid and I've been here before but we've had a tough season."
Nathan Ellington managed a last-minute equaliser in their 2-2 draw at Charlton on Monday, but the Rams have not won in their last six league games.
Jewell added: "I can only do my best. My best in this league has been good enough before and given a fair run at it, I'll think I'll get it right again.
"The biggest problem we've had is that I came in when I knew we were going to get relegated and I've had a year to put it right.
"We made a few mistakes in the January transfer window trying to have a little bit of dignity going down but it didn't work and we're still paying for those mistakes."
