Feilhaber to miss start of season

Feilhaber has only started one game for the Rams

Derby County midfielder Benny Feilhaber will miss the start of the season after being selected to play for the United States at this summer's Olympics.

Feilhaber, 22, has only made 10 appearances since joining the club for £1m from Hamburg in the summer of 2007.

He almost left at the end of last season and his chances of forcing his way into the team look slim after boss Paul Jewell's summer spending spree.

The Rams are away at Oldham in their latest pre-season fixture on Wednesday.
