Derby County boss Paul Jewell says Jay McEveley's injury is not as bad as was first feared and the defender could return before the end of the month.

Full-back McEveley has not played since suffering a knee injury in the 1-0 defeat at Bolton in early January.
But Jewell told BBC Radio Derby: "He's made terrific progress. We thought that he was going to be out for the rest of the season.
"But the scans have come through quite positive and there's no major damage."
The Rams face Tottenham at Pride Park on Saturday and, although that game will come too soon, Jewell hopes the Scotland international will be available for the trip to face Wigan on 23 February.
"With a bit of luck and a bit of hard work he may be be available for the Wigan game," Jewell said.
