Derby County have signed Ipswich winger Darren Currie on loan until the end of the season.
The 32-year-old had a trial with La Galaxy - the club David Beckham will join in the summer - earlier this year.
Currie, who could make his Derby debut on Saturday, made three substitute appearances during a two-week period before returning to the UK.
He had a loan spell at Coventry earlier in the season and is out of contract with Ipswich in the summer.
Currie joined Ipswich from Brighton in December 2004 for £250,000.
