Derby County have signed West Ham goalkeeper Stephen Bywater on an initial emergency loan deal.
Bywater failed to establish himself as West Ham's number one
The transfer for the 25-year-old will be made permanent on 27 August when he will sign terms on a three-year contract for an undisclosed fee.
Bywater began his career at Rochdale before the Hammers signed him as a teenager for £300,000 in 1998.
But he failed to retain his place in goal and was sent on loan to Wycombe, Hull, Wolves, Cardiff and Coventry.
