Holmes makes Swindon loan switch
Lee Holmes
Holmes became the club's youngest player back in 2002
Derby winger Lee Holmes has joined League One side Swindon Town on a month's loan.

Holmes as expected made the switch on Wednesday ahead of a busy festive period of fixtures.

The 17-year-old made his name after becoming Derby's youngest ever player when he came on as a substitute against Grimsby on Boxing Day two years ago.

But his performances for the Rams have been curtailed this season - he has made three appearances for the club.

"Lee is a talented young player who is at a point where he needs first-team action," said director of football Murdo MacKay. "A loan like this should help him."
