Cash-strapped Derby have released 10 players including former Italy
international Fabrizio Ravanelli.
Ravanelli and Burley are among the players who will be leaving Derby
Craig Burley, who this week announced his retirement from international
football, Robert Lee and Branko Strupar will also leave along with Patrick
Bannister, Sean Donnelly, Ian Evatt, Martin Flanagan, Matt O'Halloran and Marvin
But the Rams have offered one-year deals to Giorgi Kinkladze, Lee Morris, Adam
Murray and Richard Jackson.
Marcus Tudgay, who is recovering from a serious knee injury, has been offered
a month-by-month deal.
The club said that the players who had been offered new deals had a month to respond to the proposals.
Ravanelli, a free transfer signing from Lazio in summer 1999, had promised to
play for free at Pride Park next season if the club were willing to offer an
extension to his initial two-year deal.
