Derby release 10 players
Fabrizio Ravanelli and Craig Burley are leaving Derby
Ravanelli and Burley are among the players who will be leaving Derby
Cash-strapped Derby have released 10 players including former Italy international Fabrizio Ravanelli.

Craig Burley, who this week announced his retirement from international football, Robert Lee and Branko Strupar will also leave along with Patrick Bannister, Sean Donnelly, Ian Evatt, Martin Flanagan, Matt O'Halloran and Marvin Robinson.

But the Rams have offered one-year deals to Giorgi Kinkladze, Lee Morris, Adam Murray and Richard Jackson.

Marcus Tudgay, who is recovering from a serious knee injury, has been offered a month-by-month deal.

The club said that the players who had been offered new deals had a month to respond to the proposals.

Ravanelli, a free transfer signing from Lazio in summer 1999, had promised to play for free at Pride Park next season if the club were willing to offer an extension to his initial two-year deal.
