FA fines Gregory
Gregory has been warned about his future conduct
Derby manager John Gregory has been fined £5,000 plus costs after being found guilty of improper conduct and directing abusive language at a match official.
The Rams boss has also been warned as to his future conduct by an FA disciplinary panel. The hearing followed his comments to the fourth official during his side's FA Barclaycard Premiership defeat to Newcastle. Gregory, who had requested a personal hearing, was sent to the stands towards the end of the game at Pride Park in April as Newcastle came from 2-0 down to win 3-2 and push Derby nearer to relegation.
