Quakers made to wait for Stewart
Jamaica international Damion Stewart will not link up with Darlington until the end of the month.

Quakers boss David Hodgson offered Stewart a deal until the end of the season after he impressed on trial.

But the defender will not be able to join the squad until after Jamaica's three Concacaf matches, to be played from 20-24 February.

"We have to be patient but we are hoping to put a package together that Damion finds acceptable," said Hodgson.

The manager continued in The Northern Echo: "We want to have a good look at him in the first-team environment before the end of the season."
