Darlington striker Alun Armstrong has agreed a new deal to stay with the Quakers until the end of the season.
Armstrong's deal was due to expire before Saturday's trip to Boston, but he has now committed to the club.
"We are going in the right direction as clubs like Bristol City, Rotherham, Doncaster were interested," boss David Hodgson told the Northern Echo.
Ex-Ipswich striker Armstrong, 29, has scored eight goals in 14 games since joining Darlington in September.
