Centre-back Femi Ilesanmi has penned a two-year deal with Dagenham & Redbridge after a successful trial.
The 19-year-old spent time with the Daggers 12 months ago on non-contract terms but was allowed to join Middlesex outfit Ashford Town in February.
He told BBC Essex: "I'm really delighted to be here, I finally got my deal sorted and it's great.
"Now it's down to me to get my head down and put in some work and hopefully get into the squad."
The defender, who can also play left-back, featured several times for the Dagenham reserves last season.
He made his first-team debut for AFC Wimbledon three years ago before joining QPR's youth setup.
"Obviously I'm still young and I don't think I'll be in the first-team plans immediately," he added.
"But hopefully I can pull off a surprise and try and get in as soon as possible."
