Warnock warning to Palace rivals

Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock has warned teams they will have to raise their game to take all three points against his side this season.

Warnock told BBC London 94.9: "I think that Palace fans know that teams that are going to beat us are going to have to earn it.

"I think we're a hard side. Let's enjoy it and let's go and put a few spokes in the wheels of other clubs."

Palace drew 0-0 with Watford in their opening game of the season on Saturday.

Warnock added: "The first game you've just got to get it out the way. And, if you're going to have a clean sheet, that's Utopia really.

"We'll frustrate the fans at times I'm sure. There will be a few nail-biting moments and cigarette smoking, but it's better than being boring."
