Ryan Lowe will try and fight for a first-team place at Crewe
Crewe Alexandra striker Ryan Lowe says he intends to fight for his place despite being told he can leave.
The 29-year-old, who is moving into his final year of his contract, ended last season on loan at Stockport County and appears surplus to Crewe requirements.
But he has told BBC Radio Stoke: "I will be training hard and, if the manager gives me a chance, I will aim to prove a point."
Lowe joined the Alex on a free transfer two years ago from Chester.
Crewe are also willing to listen to offers for Danny Woodards and Gary Roberts, while Eugen Bopp, like Lowe, is being allowed to leave on a free transfer.
First-team coach Steve Holland has yet to make any new outfield signings this close season.
