AFC Wimbledon not a big game for Crawley - Steve Evans

Crawley Town manager Steve Evans says their trip to AFC Wimbledon is not a big game for his side.

The Sussex side beat the Dons to the Blue Square Bet Premier title last season and are now top of League Two.

Evans told BBC Sussex: "We might be a big game for Wimbledon, but it's not that in reverse.

"They've got some very good players and they've got a good manager. But a big game for us is Shrewsbury, Plymouth Argyle or Bradford."

He added: "Wimbledon celebrated when they beat us last year as if they'd won the championship.

"If you win a game in September, October or November - as Sir Alex Ferguson says - I've never seen any trophies given out.

"But I do believe every week is a big three points."
