Conference newcomers Crawley have signed left-winger Neil Jenkins, who was released by Southend last month.
Jenkins played 50 league games in two years at Southend
The 22-year-old wide man's brothers Mark and Paul both played for Crawley during the 1990s.
Manager Francis Vines told BBC SCR: "He's young, eager to get back into pro football, works extremely hard and he's left-footed, which is a plus."
Jenkins is the Reds' second summer signing, following the arrival of midfielder Nick Roddis from Aldershot.
