Armstrong signs on at Cowdenbeath

Cowdenbeath have completed the signing of central defender John Armstrong on a two-year deal.

The 22-year-old was released from his Hearts contract at the end of August, having spent two lengthy loan spells at Central Park already.

Armstrong has made more than 60 appearances for the Blue Brazil.

"It speaks volumes that a player of John's calibre wants to be part of what we are trying to achieve," boss Danny Lennon told the club website.
