Striker Brown returns to Cowden

Graeme Brown
Brown scored 16 goals in 66 games for Alloa.

Striker Graeme Brown has returned to Cowdenbeath after the 28-year-old left Second Division Alloa Athletic.

Brown has signed a two-and-a-half year contract with the Third Division promotion hopefuls.

He had scored 16 goals in 66 appearances for Alloa, whom he joined from Ayr United in 2005.

But he had not played for Alloa this season and has returned to the club he joined aged 16, scoring more than 50 goals before moving to Ayr in 2004.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Scott Gallacher has returned to Rangers after a four-month spell with Cowdenbeath.

The Scotland Under-21 international made eight appearances but lost his place to regular first choice David Hay during December.
