Coventry City and Crystal Palace players will wear embroidered poppy armbands for Saturday's Championship meeting at the Ricoh Arena.

City manager Chris Coleman told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire there will also be a minute's silence prior to kick-off as an act of remembrance.

He said: "You can never be too proud of the people who gave us an opportunity to live in a free society.

"We'll be there on Saturday paying our full respects."
