Coventry boss fined £5,000 by FA

Coventry City

Coventry City boss Chris Coleman has been fined £5,000 by the Football Association for improper conduct.

But he has escaped a touchline ban and will be in the away dug-out for Tuesday night's trip to Sheffield United.

Coleman's outburst came in the 3-0 home defeat by Bristol City in August after a penalty appeal was turned down.

At the same disciplinary hearing, Watford and Palace were each fined £25,000 after failing to control their players during their meeting in August.
