Steele loan extended for season
Luke Steele
Steele has been a key player for Coventry this season
Coventry have extended goalkeeper Luke Steele's loan spell at the club until the end of the season.

The Manchester United player has played 18 times so far in an initial three-month spell and says he is happy to remain at Highfield Road.

"My loan has been more than I expected. I have learnt loads and it has given me good experience," said the 20-year-old.

"I don't think playing for the reserves is going to be more beneficial for me than staying here."

Sky Blues boss Peter Reid was delighted to have extended Steele's period at the club.

"Luke has been brilliant for us and it's terrific news that he'll be with us until the end of the season," he said.
