Four star Martinez display
Coventry's Jairo Martinez and Burnley's Glenn Little
Martinez has been in and out of the Coventry team
Coventry striker Jairo Martinez scored four times in Honduras' 5-1 friendly win over Slovenia in Hong Kong on Tuesday.

The 23-year-old ensured that the Slovenians preparations for the World Cup got off to a disastrous start.

Martinez signed for the Sky Blues in September 2000 for an undisclosed fee.

He has been in and out of the Coventry first team and has not featured since the 0-0 draw against Stockport in mid-January.

Martinez struck four times within a 32 minute spell either side of half-time, with goals after 39, 59, 67 and 71 minutes.

He was replaced by Cristian Martinez on 73 minutes who completed the scoring for the Hodurans in the closing stages.
