Elito signs new Colchester deal

Colchester United

Colchester United winger Medy Elito has signed a new two-year contract with the League One club.

The 19-year-old England Under-20 international began his career in the U's youth team and will now remain at the Community Stadium until 2011.

Chief executive Steve Bradshaw told the club's website: "Medy is a huge admirer of [ex-caretaker boss] Joe Dunne.

"Given Joe's continued role in Aidy Boothroyds's management team, Medy has shown a desire to give things a go."
