Colchester United defender Pat Baldwin has signed a new deal with the club, but Australian Chris Coyne has had his contract terminated by mutual consent.
Baldwin, 26, who joined in 2002, is believed to have signed a two-year deal after agreeing to the terms last month.
Fellow defender Coyne, 30, has left England to join hometown club Perth Glory as he bids to play for Australia in next year's World Cup.
The centre-back made 35 league appearances in 18 months with the U's.
