Ex-Norwich fitness Coach Dave Carolan has joined Colchester United's backroom staff on the recommendation of Norwich's ex-U's striker Jamie Cureton.
Carolan spent 10 years with the Canaries before being axed by Norwich City manager Glenn Roeder at the end of last season.
He told Colchester's website: "I had a great time at Norwich and that allowed me to blossom as a sports scientist."
Colchester play Norwich in a pre-season friendly at Carrow Road on 2 August.
