New Clyde manager Colin Hendry has made his first moves in the transfer market and secured three new players.
Gary Arbuckle was Clyde's top scorer last season
Christian Smith, a 19-year-old defender, had been released by League One outfit Port Vale.
Craig Potter impressed on trial after leaving relegated Airdrie United, while fellow defender Andrew Traub, 18, was previously with Celtic.
In addition, Hendry has secured striker Gary Arbuckle, who has agreed a new deal for a fourth season at Broadwood.
The 22-year-old, Clyde's top scorer last season with 11 goals, had attracted attention from rival clubs but has signed a one-year contract along with Smith after impressing during pre-season.
Potter, who made four appearances for Airdrie after joining them in February, and Traub have been given short-term contracts.
Both had caught the eye of Hendry during pre-season training and closed-doors games.
The manager had seen Smith in action in England, describing him as a "tough-tackling" midfielder.
Smith made only one appearance for Port Vale but had loan spells with Cambridge United and Northwich Victoria.
Meanwhile, Hendry has decided on a dual captaincy.
Wing-back Michael McGowan will remain team captain, but defender Neil McGregor will be club captain.
