Chesterfield have appointed caretaker boss Lee Richardson as their full-time manager, reports BBC Radio Sheffield.
Richardson has been in charge of the Spireites for nine games, winning two, losing four and drawing three matches.
He took over on a temporary basis until the end of the season after previous manager Roy McFarland left the League One club in March 2007.
Richardson has been assisted by veteran striker Wayne Allison and former Rotherham boss Alan Knill.
