Leicester City could make a move for Chesterfield defender Ian Evatt, reports BBC Radio Leicester.
The 22-year-old signed a two-year extension earlier this season, but the Foxes are watching him closely.
A product of Derby's youth system, Evatt can also play in midfield and would cost in the region of £300,000.
Evatt, who signed for the Spireites in July 2003, has attracted interest from a number of clubs although Bristol City had a formal enquiry rejected recently.
