Chesterfield have signed experienced defender Damon Searle to ease their injury problems.
Searle is vastly experienced
The former Cardiff, Carlisle and Southend man has signed a one month contract at Saltergate following injuries to Stuart Howson, Mark Innes and Steve Blatherwick.
Searle, 31, has started over 550 league and cup games, but was without a club after being released by Southend in the summer.
"Injuries mean we are a little short on the left-hand side of the team and Damon will provide experienced cover at a time when it is needed," Chesterfield boss Roy McFarland told the club's official website.
